Vitamins for Skin Health – Skin Fairness Supplements

Vitamins are micronutrients, which are required in less amount by the body but still are important to the body. Vitamins deficiency can cause different health-related issues including damage to the skin.

Skin is the largest organ of our body and acts as the primary barrier against the harmful bacteria, radiations and chemicals. But to function effectively, skin health needs to be maintained and for that, essential nutrients like vitamins and minerals are needed. This will also help to improve the texture and color of the skin.

Here are few vitamins which help to improve the overall skin health;

1.    Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that acts as a strong antioxidant in the body. This ability of vitamin C is not only helpful in maintaining internal body health but also supports the skin in surviving against the harmful effects of external factors like toxins and microorganisms present in the environment. Vitamin C is also involved in collagen synthesis which helps in effective and quick wound healing.

2.    Vitamin E:

Vitamin E also falls in the category of antioxidant vitamins and helps the immune system to fight off damage-causing free radicals. Both vitamins, C and E, are antioxidants and protect the skin from getting damage by the action of free radicals and other harmful factors.

3.    Vitamin D:

Vitamin D is involved in the cell metabolism, which involves skin cells, too. It means a healthy levels of vitamin D is necessary for healthy skin tone and layer thickness. Moreover, vitamin D also reduces inflammation in the body, ultimately helping in managing different skin problems like acne and eczema (a condition in which skins gets itchy and red).

A lot of foods have rich content of these essential vitamins. But sometimes foods are not enough to cover up the requirements of these vitamins and people may require a supplemental aid. Conditions like; disturbed digestion of foods and insufficient intake of the vitamin rich foods, lead our body to vitamins deficiency, especially water-soluble vitamins (vitamin C and B-complex) as these cannot be stored inside the body and must be taken through diet on daily basis.

Following supplements can help in improving overall skin health:

1.    Glutazon and Gluta Fair:

Both these supplements contain good amount of glutathione, a strong antioxidant composed of three amino acids. Glutathione supports antioxidant actions and detoxification process in the body leading to a fresh and smooth skin. It also enhances the activity of other antioxidants, vitamin C and E.

2.    Dermazon and Maxzoom:

These two dietary supplements contain vitamin A, D, E, C and some other skin friendly nutrients. Vitamins and minerals in these products are in enough amount to promote the skin health through effective antioxidant actions. Moreover, these nutrients help to promote skin texture through collagen synthesis, effective wound healing and reducing inflammation.

3.    Biotin Plus and Nutin:

Biotin Plus and Nutin are two healthy dietary supplements which contain Biotin (B7) in enough amounts to help promote the skin texture, nail and hair health. As biotin is a water-soluble vitamin, so it should be delivered to our body on daily basis.
